Peace became world famous when in 1939, Meillands of France secretly shipped out of Europe a new rose which at the end of the war was handed to the United Nations as a symbol of everlasting world peace. After 50 years it is still one of the most loved roses and is the best selling rose of the 20th century. It won every award possible when released, and it is often described as the most beautiful rose in the world, having huge flowers blending yellow, peach and pale pink. It is immensely fragrant. Also available as a climber.

Dark leathery foliage makes this tall-growing rose quite disease resistant.

Grows approximately
2.5 metres high x 1.5 metres wide.
