THESE ROSES ARE INFORMAL GROWING PLANTS that send up large canes or branches upwards and outwards. Flowers are produced in mass profusion, some once a year and others many times a season. These roses are lovely garden features when trained onto walls, pergolas, arches, fences or any other structure and can give any years of often fragrant joy to gardeners. They can also be planted under old trees and let run wild up and throughout the tree branches to give another dimension in growing climbing roses. Climbers are a splendid form of rose, on which many great rose gardens of the world have been founded.
